Designrea · Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Terms of Service
Effective 17 August 2026
These Terms of Service govern access to Designrea, a professional community platform for interior design, architecture, fit-out, and material supply, operated for members in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the GCC. By registering, being approved, or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use Designrea.
1. The service
Designrea provides a membership community including a feed, comments (public and private), connections, messaging, Trendy materials and furniture listings, bespoke sourcing, local talent, jobs, a discussion forum, articles, live coverage, and related tools. Features may change as we improve the platform.
The service is provided from and directed at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Content is primarily in English; Arabic support may be expanded over time.
2. Eligibility and membership
You must be 18 or older and able to form a binding contract under Saudi law. You must provide accurate professional details (including an official email and a verifiable professional profile URL where requested).
Membership is not automatic. An administrator reviews applications. We may approve, reject, suspend, or later revoke membership to protect the community. Pending applicants cannot access the community until approved.
You are responsible for your password and for activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use Designrea only for lawful professional purposes and in a manner consistent with Saudi public order and morals. You must not:
- Post unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, or infringing content, or content that violates Islamic values or applicable Saudi regulations.
- Harass others, scrape the service, impersonate a person or studio, or attempt to bypass audience, privacy, or premium controls.
- Upload malware, interfere with servers, or probe other members’ accounts.
- Use another member’s private comments, messages, datasheets, or bespoke briefs outside the permissions the platform grants.
- Offer products or services you are not entitled to sell, or misrepresent price, origin, or specification.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of content you post. You grant Designrea a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the platform so the community can function (feed, search, notifications, live rooms, marketplace, and similar features).
You represent that you have the rights to post images, drawings, and product data, including any third-party intellectual property or model likenesses.
We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms, a rights-holder notice, or the law, and we may keep copies needed for investigation or legal compliance.
5. Audience, comments, and confidentiality
When you publish a post you choose who may see it (anyone, connections, designers, suppliers, or specific people). The server enforces that audience; client settings cannot widen it.
Quiet-feedback and private comments are confidential as between the permitted parties. Premium features (such as starting a private comment on a public post) may require an approved premium status.
Bespoke requests, supplier quotes, and attached files must be used only for evaluating that brief. Revealing a hidden studio, budget cap, or quote outside the awarded workflow is a breach of these Terms.
6. Marketplace, talent, jobs, and live coverage
Product listings, datasheets, talent entries, job posts, and event coverage submissions may require administrative review before they appear publicly. We are not a party to sales, employment, or contracting between members unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
Prices, lead times, and specifications are provided by the listing member. You must verify fitness for your project, including Saudi building codes, site conditions, and procurement rules that apply to you.
Live or recorded coverage that is approved “on air” may be shown to the community with chat and comments. We may take coverage down at any time.
7. Premium access
Some capabilities are limited to premium members. Requests are reviewed by administrators. Premium status does not guarantee featuring, ranking, or commercial success.
8. Intellectual property of Designrea
The Designrea name, Grand Gate marks, interface, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy the platform, scrape member directories for competing products, or use our marks without permission.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The platform is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted access or that member-generated content is accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted under the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Designrea is not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for disputes between members. Our aggregate liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid us (if any) in the three months before the claim, or SAR 1,000, whichever is greater — except where liability cannot be limited by Saudi law (including liability for fraud or personal injury caused by our proven negligence).
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, fail verification, or create risk for other members. You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, limitation of liability, governing law) remain in effect.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the Electronic Transactions Law and other applicable regulations. The courts of Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the service, without prejudice to any mandatory jurisdiction rules that apply to consumers where relevant.
Nothing in these Terms limits the authority of competent Saudi regulators, including SDAIA in matters of personal data and the Communications, Space & Technology Commission where its rules apply to electronic services.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after the updated date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where Saudi law requires additional notice or consent.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms: use the Contact page or email it@designrea.com.
These Terms are issued in English, which is the controlling language. An Arabic translation may be published later. If a translation differs, the English text applies except where Saudi law requires the Arabic text to prevail.
